  • Individual Therapy

Individual therapy in my practice is grounded in the belief that our emotional and psychological experiences are deeply shaped by relationships—past and present. I work with people who are navigating a range of complex experiences, including:

-Voice hearing and other sensory experiences

    -Strong beliefs (sometimes called delusions)

    -Anxiety, fear, or emotional overwhelm

    -Identity exploration and self-understanding

-The impact of trauma, including intergenerational trauma

-Feelings of disconnection, isolation, or loss of meaning

  • Conjoint Therapy

    Couples Therapy:

Helping partners move through conflict, strengthen emotional connection, and work with the impact of mental health and trauma on relationships

    Family Therapy:

Intergenerational family therapy and systemic support for families navigating mental health challenges, communication breakdowns, and long-standing patterns

  • Relational Support for Families, Caregivers, and Siblings Navigating Psychosis

Families are often the first to witness and hold the complexity of a loved one’s distress—especially when that distress includes experiences like voice hearing, unusual or strong beliefs, or extreme emotional states. Family therapy offers a space to make sense of these experiences together, reduce isolation, and move toward deeper connection and understanding.

I work with adult families, caregivers, and siblings to support:

-Navigating the emotional impact of a loved one’s experiences with psychosis

    -Strengthening communication and mutual understanding

-Shifting out of roles like “fixer,” “protector,” or “identified patient”

-Managing differing beliefs or perspectives within the family

-Finding ways to stay connected without becoming overwhelmed or shut down

-Exploring intergenerational patterns that shape how we respond to distress
